Staff and Technicians
Patrick
Patrick has been a part of the PLAH family as the clinic cat. He is currently a year old and spends his time supervising the staff and providing endless cuddles. Patrick’s favorite thing about his job is getting to meet new furry friends every day and getting to play with toys!
Laikyn
Laikyn is a certified vet assistant who has been with us for 3 years as Kennel tech, Vet tech, and receptionist. She currently has a Pitbull mix named Tucker, a cat named Sixteen and a snake! Laikyn says her favorite thing about working in vet med is getting to love all the fur babies and making them feel as safe as possible during their visits.
Kayley
Kayley is currently attending Arizona State University for pharmacology and toxicology and has been with PLAH for 5 months! She has a pet German Shepherd/Schnauzer/ Malinois mix. She works as a vet technician and as a receptionist.
Anna C.
Anna is currently attending Mcneese State University for pre-veterinary medicine and has been in the PLAH family for a year. She has dogs, cats, chickens, and other livestock animals! She works as a vet tech but is fluent as a receptionist and kennel tech. Anna says her favorite part of her job is being able to advocate for those who cannot speak for themselves.
Crystal
Crystal is currently getting her veterinary technician certification with Penn Foster and has been with the PLAH family for 4 years. She works as a vet tech but is fluent as a receptionist and kennel tech. Crystal has 2 cats and 2 dogs and she says her favorite thing about her job is being a part of a team or more so a family that share the same interests in advocating for voiceless animals and being able to help them.
Madi
Madi has been a part of the PLAH family for 4 years and works as a receptionist. She has a female orange tabby named Frankie and says her favorite thing about working at Prien Lake Animal Hospital is building new and old relationships with our clients and their furry friends!
Anna R.
Anna is currently getting her veterinary technician certification with Penn Foster and has been with PLAH for 4 years. She has three dogs named Koda, Ace, and Reese, and one cat named Binx. She works as a vet tech and a receptionist and says her favorite part of working with us is interacting with all the different animals that come in!
Reagan
Reagan is currently attending Louisiana State University and majoring in Pre-veterinary medicine. She is the newest addition to the PLAH family and has only been with us for a few months! Reagan has 4 dogs and says her favorite thing about working at PLAH is getting opportunities to learn new things.
Sabrina
Sabrina has been with us for over a year and works as a kennel tech. She currently has a mix of 7 pets including cats and dogs, that she takes care of at home! Sabrina says her favorite part of working at Prien Lake Animal Hospital is getting to love on all the animals.
Shaynie
Shaynie has been with us for 3 years and works as a receptionist, but is also fluent as a vet tech. She is a mom of 3 and has two cats called the Lunas (both named Luna) and a dog named Ben. Shaynie’s favorite part of working at PLAH is getting to help all kinds of new fur babies and loving them too!
