Randy L. Farr, DVM
Dr. Randy L. Farr received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 1977 from Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine. He was a member of the first graduating class of LSU SVM. Dr. Farr is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), the Louisiana Veterinary Medical Association (LVMA), past-president and secretary/treasurer of the Calcasieu Parish Veterinary Medical Association, and the Louisiana Academy of Veterinary Practice. Dr. Farr has practiced all of his life in Lake Charles, LA. In the early part of his career he worked under Dr. George Arnold at Arnold’s Animal Hospital, and later he went on to open his own practice. On May 31, 1985, he established Farr Veterinary Hospital which has continued to grow over the past 25 years only to experience its greatest measure of growth just last year. On July 1, 2010 Farr Veterinary Hospital became a partnership with Dr. Jae H. Chang. Dr. Farr currently resides in Sulphur with his wife Jan Farr. They enjoy spending time with their children and grandchildren.
